    Panasonic FZ-G1 Touchscreen

    touchscreen works with pen but no response using finger. I re-calibrated touchscreen, reinstalled latest driver, and still no response. Any ideas?

    Welcome to NBR Panasonic Toughbook Forum

    I don't have a G1 but a few do have them and they will be on later. Have you checked to see what the settings are in the BIOS ?

    Sounds like the digitizer is working and the touchscreen is not.
    Check BIOS.
    Check drivers.

    Whatbis the specific model number?
    what os?
    oem image? or did you install OS and drivers yourself? how did you install the drivers, if you did?

    Windows 8.1, 7 or W10? They are slightly different.

    The LAST thing to do is to throw drivers at it.

    W7 for instance calibrates and all from W7 package drivers.

    We need just a leeetle bit more info.

    Touchscreen has to work in BIOS Setup also. If it doesn't - I would presume it's either dead (1%) or not connected (99%). Disassemble and check it's cable.

    I have replaced Mk2 with MK1 screen. The touchscreen wont work on the bios. But when I load windows 10 pro everything work just fine...…

    Will that battery works you reckon in mk1? can you help me please?
