Panasonic TOTALLY re-designed the CF-31 MK2 hard drive caddies.

Not sure if anyone else has any experience here, but they totally changed em. They have a PLASTIC outer shell instead of the thin aluminum one. Also, you don't need ANY tools (IE, NO SCREWS) to take it apart to replace the drive. This is VERY advantageous for field HDD changes. The design is VERY similar to the new CF-53 hard drive caddies. (Only thicker and more padding of course)

    woot!

Is the connector still the same? Will your MK2 caddy fit the 30 and 31MK1?

Ok great its nice that the caddy's are interchangeable. I have a few
customers that are upgrading from the 30 to 31 so they can take there
SSD's with them to the new units. I knew the 30 and 31MK-1 where the same
but now I know the MK-2 will work also.
