Hello and I apologize if this question has been asked before.. Can you use the sealed rubber backlit (2 Wire) keyboard's from the CF-28 on a CF-73? From what I hear, a lot of the Toughbook's (CF-28, 48, 72 etc.) use the same keyboard, and I was just curious if it was possible. Perhaps you Toughbook Veteran's would know, Thanks!

Thank you guys very much for your comments!

The problem I am running into is this; I have actually SEEN a CF-72 on eBay with a Back-lit Rubber keyboard (That worked) and so I assumed that as long as you had the sealed keyboard with the 2-Ribbon connectors you would be fine, I just wasn't sure about the CF-73.

The last post with a link to another forum stated that: "They did not make a back-lit keyboard with 2-Ribbon's, they only came with Three" (Rubber or Chicklet) Which I personally can say is false. I have had quite a few Rubber keyboard's in my hand's that were only 2-Ribbon's.

Ugh.. I appreciate your help guys! @Tomcat, when the keyboard was tested with the CF-73, was it the 2-Ribbon keyboard or the Three?

    Thanks!

I can say that is false as well as I have two, 2 connector rubber backlite myself
It was the 2 connector that I tried on the cf-72 and failed
That type has worked on all cf-27's,cf-28's and cf-29 models
