My new Panasonic Toughbook CF-W5 gets very warm in the region to the left of the touchpad. This becomes very uncomfortable after a short period of time. Are others experiencing this problem?

The heat is probably from the CPU or from where the heatpipe attaches to the chassis. The W5 is so thin that you are likely to feel the heat as it rises up from the laptop.
