    Hello,
Will greatly appreciate it if somebody can chime in on whether it is possible to install "Intel® Centrino® Advanced–N + WiMAX 6250" card in CF-W8 and/or CF-T8.
    Many thanks!

    I'm using a generic Intel 6250 in my CF-C1 (i5 M520). I also tried it in CF-30 mk1 (CoreDuo L2400) but it didn't work (bios whitelisting).
The W8/T8 is a Core2Duo generation, so somewhere between those above. You'll know for sure if you try it.

Also, if you don't need WiMAX, just find a plain (Panasonic) 6200/6205.

From the specs, it looks like it has an Intel 5100 originally. I swapped in an Intel 5300 in my cf52 that originally had a Intel 4965. I added the 3rd antenna (flag antenna)and it doubled my internet speed.

6250 has very big problems with stability. Random disconnects etc.
Atheros AR9280 is much better. My own experience.
