Yes, the Toughbook F9 IS really good... but is it right for you?

It's hard to figure out whether this machine is a good fit for you without knowing what you'll be using it for. Will you be taking it on the road for business? Out in the field? Into dangerous environments? Each situation requires a different type of Toughbook.

For the record, the Toughbook F9 generally falls under the category of "Business Rugged," meaning it's ideally suited for business professionals on the go. While it's not as tough as fully-rugged models like the CF-31, it's a great model for business travelers in sectors like insurance, sales, and some field services because of its light weight. Its weight is impressive relative to its sturdiness, so its not cheap. But it'll last you a very long time, and is pretty easy to upgrade.

Why are you looking for a Toughbook? What do you need the computer for?

katiesutton , sorry but I had to edit this post too. If you want to post a link from the Panasonic site I am fine with that but posting a link to a Panasonic Seller is like spam . We have 2 other members that are Panasonic Resellers on here and they can not advertiser or post links to there web site. I am just trying to be fair to all. I really do not want to close this thread but if it happens again I will close it.

Ok with that said what kind of job will you be doing. If you will be working from an office then look at the Business-rugged Laptops or Semi-rugged Laptops (CF-52 or 53). If you will be on the road a lot then look at the Fully-rugged Laptops or even the Semi-rugged Laptops (CF-53). I own a CF-53 and think its a great laptop for the office or on the road.
