    Panasonic Toughbook cf-53 qualcom problem

    Hello All,
    I recently bought a new cf-53 JSLZ81M. I installed a qualcom gobi 2000 I removed from my old cf-52 but I cant get device manager to see it at all. I tried enabling & disabling any setting I thought relevant in the BIOs but still nothing.
    I know the cf-52 had small switches by the pci slot but this one does not. is there something i'm missing?
    I tried to search for a service manual but I had no luck.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    CF-53 has a wireless kit section in the BIOS that must be configured to add or change WWAN cards. Unfortunately Panasonic decided to put a factory password on that option.

    I finally figured it out.
    There is a setting in the bios called ( Optional Kit Configuration )
    I changed the value from FF to 0 and after the reboot there it was, I loaded the drivers and its working perfectly.
    I guessed the value apparently it's in hex format 00 01 02 03 0 4 05 06 07 08 09 0a 0b 0c 0d 0e 0f 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 1a 1b 1c 1d 1e 1f 20 21 22 23 24 .. etc... all the way to FF the 00 was a guess for me hopefully it will work for you.
    My card is a Qualcom Gobi 2000 unlocked with GPS...
