Has anyone ever converted a single pass-thru Panasonic WEB301 dock to a dual pass-thru? Customer is telling us there is a blank spot for another connector on the bottom of the dock. Customer has new dual pass-thru TB and existing docks. Or is their only option to remove the pass-thru on the dock completely and just utilize the built-in antenna?

Changing out the computer to match the dock is fairly straightforward. Hole and screw locations match. Dual pass connectors are smaller to match the hole in the case.

My CF-30 dual pass are labeled "GPS" and "EXT." Antenna on the back door. But they could be anything you want with a little plumbing.

The only dock here now is a WEB273 so I can't help you there. I assume the holes are drilled the same size.

    It's easy.
Panasonic made a kit to change from single antenna to dual antenna on the dock.

To follow up: we found some used dual pass docks, and swapped the locking mechanisms between them as the used ones did not include keys.

Thats something thats got me stumped..... I took the lock from my WEB302 to several locksmiths in San Francisco and no luck whatsoever....
Took it to a locksmith in a town in rural Australia, dropped the lock off and had a call to come and pick my keys up before I'd driven 4 blocks.....
