I have been trying to get my scrren to work with Vista but have given up so I am just away to do a clean install on my laptop (upgrading from Vista) and was wondering if you can use the XP mode in Windows 7 to link to the Panasonic CF-VDW07, it would save me dual booting it with XP, anyone tried it yet??

Haven't tried but, I doubt it will work. XP Mode is designed for software, not hardware.

I've heard tell of people using the brand-independent version of meiWDS on Vista; but they had to disable the Aero interface (Classic Mode). I expect the same is possible with Win7; but either is an experiment I have not yet undertaken.

I have tried to do this before when I first started using Win7 32 bit. Very frustrating. It would actually connect in the connections manager, but would never send the screen over and actually "connect". Have not really messed with it in a while since I began using 64 bit, but I agree with db04p71 that it probably will not work based on the software issue. If someone has ideas, they would be greatly appreciated.......
