Are you sure that its not the inverter
You have only replaced the backlite, which by the way is a very common item to fail in the cf-48 model
    Give us more details

Look for little white fuses on the mobo... Do you have the Schematics and board layout PDF files for your model?

That I cannot tell you as I have never dissected a CF-48... I deal with only fully rugged. But if it is like the rest... It all comes apart in a logical manner... No hidden springs to fly out. Perhaps someone who owns and has modded one will speak up. However... I can email you the PDF files that you need if you post your complete model number or MK#... Just let me know. From there you can look into the diagrams and get a feel for what it would be like to take it apart.

If it was something I had parts for, or a model that I know well then yes it might be worth a trip to CR to see me
The last cf-48 display problem that I worked on was a bad backlite , and the symptom was a pale red screen when booting and I just bought a parts laptop on ebay and changed the whole lid
