Personal Update

I just went on a spending spree, I have ordered a new battery from batteryrefill.com, a media bay battery and Kingston 512 memory from ebay. I will let you know how this purchase turns out. I just ordered a couple of external gps antenna to review, another EM408 board, a bluetooth 359 GPS reciever, and a couple of other odds + ends. I may end up needing to fix the Jim Gray antenna on the top right of LCD (will wait until other parts come in to run more tests first, the current EM408 will not get a fix even with the laptop upside down and battery out.)

Also just ordered an Itrip (ipod fm transmitter) for sound mod testing!

I am still looking for the side cover that has both the MODEM AND LAN ports in place. My 28 only has the modem port and I would like to get a LAN combo card working on this soon (without having to resort to a PCMCIA )

I may need to call heartland for that though, haven't seen many on ebay.

Oh yeah - Toughbook, did you still have a spare rubber foot ( back right by AC) ? I can PM contact info again. I am also going to need an AC plug cover (mine is about to come off - YES due to abuse and I know I already blew the warrenty away!!! ; )

I also have some antennas and I should have more on the way... But it sounds like it is the EM-408...
