    I have a 14 year old CF-28M, ex-military. I have lost my key! I need PTA130. If you have one, please let me know what you want for it. Thank you!

    Now, about that key... The dock key?? If it is the dock, I have actually removed a toughbook from the dock... The toughbook was fine, but I did have to destroy the dock...

    Ahh... Yes that board is user replaceable. Some others on here know WAY more than I do on CF-28's. Just wait. They'll chime in :)

    I've heard that its not too hard to get the bottom off a locked one and then replace the switch with a non-keyed one. They were pretty much a joke to begin with.

    Why would you want one? They are so easy to bypass and offer little true security. (Though I guess it does off that "James Bond" styling!) A good BIOS or boot password would be better.
