hi bros.
I just got one CF-29 Mk5 with 5000 hour working (in like NEW condition) with factory emissive kb ( fabulous one, i love this, nothing can compare with its feeling), WWAN factory installed, and yellow tap battery ( this one is just amazing, much different with the blue tap battery in my Mk4). I am very happy with this purchase.
I installed Win XP 3 and all are working fine now, except WWAN - I think. When I look into Computer Manage, it shows me 2 yellow lines:
- Data Interface
- Data Interface
- Ethernet controller (done, this is Yukon device)
I tried to install all drivers from Panasonic website but nothing helps.
Except that, all wireless, video, sound, mouse.... work very smooth.
I also found this thread:
http://forum.notebookreview.com/panasonic/377566-cf29-verizon-wwan-drivers-freshly-installed.html
and try to register on Panasonic website, but the Term of use YES/NO button never shows up to let me press it. Even if I use any of internet browser (IE, Opera, Mozilla)
So I can not register to get the BIOS update.
Could you help me to find the driver for those ones?
Thank you very much

This will install the drivers and Panasonic Novatel connection manager for AT&T.

thank you very much db04p71!
all the drivers just installed quickly.
now I can start the software. However, I am using T-mobile.
I inserted the SIM card into the slot but the Mobilink software just says: SIM card not Found. Check Orientation.
I expect this because you said it will work for AT&T.
Could I use this modem for T-mobile and another SIM card carrier? What should I do to get it work?
thank you for your advice. -
If you already have T-mobile WWAN, what modem are you currently using?
AFAIK, only AT&T(Cingular) is supported.
I'm not sure if the Novatel EU730 can be unlocked.
You might try T-mobile's connection manager. However, it may not have the drivers for the Novatel modem.

thanks Glen.
I thought a cell phone SIM card will work, but it is totally naive thinking.
Yes, now I understand that it could only use for AT&T and Cingular.
I will try it later. Just let it there now.
Thank you again -
There is a default profile, from memory, "HSDPA*". It is locked and no changes can be made. To configure for AT&T, you create a new profile, name it, AT&T or anything you like, enter isp.cingular for the APN and that is the profile to connect to AT&T.
Try creating a new profile for T-mobile, enter epc.tmobile.com for the APN and see if it will work.
