    Hello

Ever wanted to keep what you are doing on your Toughbook a secret?

Then a solution is here!

Remove the polarized film and make a couple of glasses with it. --> No one can see what you are doing (As long as they do not find out the secret and use a couple of polarized glasses themselves, but if they are you have a better chance at spotting them :) )

You may find more details here:
Privacy monitor hacked from an old LCD Monitor

(I haven't done this myself, I just wanted to share this link to the more brave Toughbook users around us.)

Interesting; but seems like an awful lot of work, considering:

I think it would be cool going through customs in places like I do Saudi Arabia, etc. They would just think the computer is messed up, lol. They like to look and pry too much.

I just wonder how "clear" the images are through the glasses. That
polarized layer is normally right on top of the LCD and don't know if
you place that at a distance how "readable" the screen will be.

If someone has the time and a old screen, it would definitely be
    worth a try.

Well if anyone has the spare time give it a try see if it does work.
    I have my doubts.
