Anyone having issues? I know ProSet sucks... But generally don't have an issue with XP. Proset just hangs and won't find the SSID. If I force it to look it goes non responsive. Eventually though... It will snap out of it.

I downloaded the latest Proset program from their site to work with W7.... I tried just installing the driver and having W7 run it and also the complete Proset program and having it run it.

A possible issue may be that I installed a SSD HD and basically never turn it off.... I just go into suspend mode when I close the lid. BUT... The same thing happens when I reboot. But what is the point of having a fast SSD drive if it takes the wifi utility 5 minutes to straighten itself out?

Ideally I'd like a solution for the card I have. However... I can swap to Ubiquiti or similar if I have to.

    Whaddaya think?

Well Rick my 30 MK1 with W7 and a SSD runs great...no problems with the proset BUT on my CF-52 MK1 / W7 / SSD I would have to shut the wifi off and on again for it to connect. Its ok now but it just went away after W7 did some updates

Hmmm... Maybe I need to check the updates.

    Thanks!

BTW... Can you tell me what version of Proset you are running? That may help me.

I use the driver only. No Proset. The current driver on my CF-19 Mk2 with Win 7 and Intel SSD, though I don't think the drive has anything to do with it, is 13.4.0.139. I have no problems with it at all. I use the Wireless Switch Utility to switch between WLAN and WWAN, no problems.

    Also have 12.4.1.4 on a CF-74 Mk3, Win 7 and SSD and 12.4.3.9 on a CF-30 Mk2, Win 7.

All have the 4965AG card. It doesn't seem like the driver version is critical.

Rick, any reason for the pro-set? The drivers alone work perfectly on my CF-30's, MK1 and MK3 both running W7 Pro.
