Hi Guys, Ive tried searching for my problem but was unable to find any answers,
Basically I installed windows vista onto my cf-19 no problem all went ok, But i want to go back to windows xp, I dont have the recovery disks so i purchased an copy of xp to tried to install it, On the blue screen where it copys the necessary files over usually it will come up with the options to format the hdd and carry on with the instalation it comes up saying no hdd was installed and it quits the instalation, It comes up on the bios fine saying primary 80gb, Anyone any Idea to help me with my problem. vista works fine off the same hdd so i know the hdd isnt corrupt.
Thanks
Lucas

You need to slipstream your Sata drives into the installation kit. Or, you need to set the disk to compatible in BIOS. This will degrade performance, until you force install the sata drives in Windows.
In any case, this issue is all over NBR and I've answered it 20 times. Goodluck, with your search. -
