    Hi all,
Just picked up a nice condition CF-19 mk2, running W7 professional. Everything works, buttons on the front, Bluetooth, and i'm very pleased with it, however.
It came with a scrawny stylus and I've since learnt that the screen might be a digitised one, not a touchscreen.
The stylus wont affect anything on the screen whatsoever.
The calibration program is there as is the handwriting program, but the Mk2 isn't recognising the stylus at all.
Auto rotate isn't working either, but the screen rotates when the button is pressed
    Am I missing something?
    Thanks in advance.

I think he has a digitizer screen. Like to see a picture of the 19 to see if it has the bigger hole for the pen. If you go to this thread and post one look for the picture that shows the screen. Look where the pen goes. Does the hole look like yours. If it does then you have a digitizer screen and you need the pen that Shawn is talking about.

Hi all, thanks for your replies. my screen looks like the one in the pic, so it looks like potentially the digitiser is fine but the crappy plastic pen without button is incorrect..... i shall have a mooch. Anyone have a picture of what the correct stylus ought to look like? cheers

next problem, is the inbuilt simcard reader, it seems locked to Vodafone. I have a giffgaff / o2 data sim spare. Any idea how to unlock it? thanks again in advance

That I can not help you with. That is something I have never used in any of my Toughbooks

Further to the last, 1 pen has arrived ( Lenovo) and that works no issues but cant be stored on the screen. Also, I upgraded the Wind 7 to Windows 10.
initially it wouldn't install as it advised the wireless modem was incompatible so i had to uninstall the drivers so it didn't appear. Got further into the update then it failed because of an power management feature that was incompatible, did the same with that. and Voila, all in and running, even wireless.
