cf-19 mk6, new 850 samsung ssd, ordered disc from Heartland services for Win7 64bit for my machine. Windows will open to the recovery screen but then I get an error message saying "cf-19 mk6 not supported". The only option when exiting this error message shuts down the laptop. Did heartland send me the wrong disc?

First you need to set boot to "boot to cd-dvd" first then watch when your 19 boots up. You cant install the dvd from windows.
Edit: ok i could be wrong. Trying to remember how my MK5 was.Shawn likes this. -
What is your full model number?
What numbers are on the disk?
Photos would be best. -

guess I'll have to wait a couple more days now... -
Don't be wrong. Recovery disk for CF-31MK3, CF-53MK2 and CF-19MK6 are all the same. FYI,

I am doing a restore on my CF-19MK5 W7 32bit tonight. I will post what you should see when you do yours.

Start the 19 and you will see...
Windows is loading files...
then it will give you three choices...
Reinstall windows or Erase HDD or Run system recovery options...you want to chose "Reinstall Windows"
It took me 1 hour to install W7 32bit SP1. Now the fun begins....all the updates which will take many hours. -
@ blair :
check with shawn about those updates and a good fix for them (that doesn't involve high velocity lead) .
just got done installing W7 on a couple of machines ... plug in the flash drive , hit the go button and walk away . -
Gee, thanks Larry..
PM me Blair, I can set up a stick or DVD for you.

If someone wants to make their own Windows updater on a usb drive or DVD
check out this website for "Tools to Update Windows Offline and install Hotfixes from a Local Source"

The WSUS offline updater works well on a usb drive.Last edited: May 2, 2016 -
