    Hi,
I have a Toughbook CF-M34 and I recently bought a new battery (manufactured by Energy+). The problem is that the new battery doesn't take any charge. When I plug in the AC adapter the orange charging led is on for about 30-60 seconds. Then a red led starts blinking. I don't think the AC adapter if faulty because the old battery (original panasonic) is charging normally. The original battery is 10.8V 4000mAh and the new one 11.1V 4500mAh. Can this be the problem? What can I do? Should I just return the Energy+ battery and buy an original Panasonic? I would appreciate any help offered.

I almost bought one of those for my CF-28 last week until I saw it wasn't OEM. I don't trust many people when it comes to batteries (Because they can blow up/cause damage/otherwise be painful in my lap region).

If you've got a red LED blinking it means the battery is toast. Once you apply AC power it should turn orange.

    I'd return it as defective.
