I got my Gamber/Johnson vehicle mount last week. I have installed my external RF antenna for my Verizon service.

My question is do you have to turn any settings on to "activate" the RF port on the computer? There is nothing of course to do on the mount. I was just wondering if it's activated or not.

The passthrough on the back is hardwired on/in the back. There is no on/off for it. As long as everything is enabled in the BIOS for whatever it is that uses the passthrough (Wifi - GPS - WWAN) then it is an "auto on" whenever it is attached to the dock.
