I know the CF-19 Mk2 digitizer and touchscreen use different XP recovery disks. Is the Vista disk the same for both versions or are there two different disks?
I'm curious because I don't have the Vista disk and would like to know what I'm looking for.
Thanks,
Glen

Right
The tablet uses xp tablet and the touchscreen uses xp pro
Panasonic recovery disks check the model # before running so for sure you will need the right disk for it to work
You have a newer model mk-2 so the disks will be available from Heartland, or Ebay

Yes, I have the correct XP disk. The question is about Vista. The model is a CF-19FHGAXAM which is a ***VISTA Downgrade to XP ***. Will a Vista recovery disc work on this model? Since Vista is more "tablet friendly", I'm wondering if Panasonic just made one disc for Vista that works on both the digitizer or touchscreen.
While Heartland has a disk, I'd like to avoid their shipping charge. I haven't found anything on EBay, yet.

No first hand info as I have a mk-1 digitizer only
I think there would be two vista disks for recovery on the cf-19 mk-2 models
As the restore process creates the hard drive to a factory state with the proper drivers
The digitizer and the touchscreen use different drivers it would be logical that there is two different disks
Maybe one of the techs here could confim

As a follow up, I contacted Heartland. A nice lady told me that they didn't have touchscreen or digitizer Vista recovery disc. They only had a Vista recovery disc for the 19mk2. She checked with the repair department which confirmed only one Vista disc was available. I ordered it. It installed perfectly on my touchscreen CF-19. So, apparently, it will work on both.
