    Hey All,
I have installed my new wlan card TP-link wn-861n a bgn card. The performance is definately better. The question I have is to the antennen on the lid, are they both dual band or is one 5ghz and the other 2.4. I ask because in thoery the new card thats fitted does not need the 5ghz any more and I would consider taking it out and changing for anouther 2.4ghz when possible.
Ive trawled the web to see if cable colours ( white and black) differentiate between the 2 but no luck.
    cheers

If your talking about a CF-29
Then Yes,, Both antennas are dual band.
Two antennas are provided for signal diversity

Yeah man... Don't mess with the CF-29 twin antenna system... You can't beat it unless you walked around with a modified Dish antenna and tinfoil hat plugged into your wifi card!

This thing gets a GREAT signal by the way! ;)

I believe it's just a manufacturer convention of the main antenna versus the auxiliary antenna. I want to say that black is generally the main antenna, but I'm not even sure if it's consistent between companies.

    Rick,
I thought you were going to keep your new invention a secret. I don't think you are going to find a welder that will handle that helmet, it looks to be pretty light stuff.
