    1. What is the discharge pattern like? will it run down the Secondary battery first (completly) and then have a go at the main battery?

    or

    Will it do the opposite?

    or

    Will it balance both batteries?

    2. Have you ever considered undervolting and underclocking the CPU to set some sort of time record? I feel like with the size of the CF30 battery it should be able to get more then 10 hours.

    3. How much battery life do you get watching a movie? with dsiplay brightness comparable to an average notebook set to half brightness.

    Thanks - Dominik

First... Get undervolting out of your vocabulary.... This isn't a Dull laptop...

The media batt goes first... Followed by the main batt.

Movies are no problem... I can normally watch (almost) two movies.... More than two if it is on the hard drive and I have the media bay batt in place.

I've gotten 12+ hours on my CF-30 if I suspend the CPU while idle.

thanks for the other info, but why are you so opposed to undervolting/underclocking and refer to it as something Dull owners do?

    thanks

If you need/want to undervolt.... Just go into the BIOS and set your laptop to HIGH HEAT.... Instead of auto. This will roll you back to 80% CPU output....
