This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Does anyone have any experience with the minute R series?
    I see Conics have the jet black version of R8 reduced and it's a tempting if rather expensive alternative to a netbook I'm thinking of buying for daughter (plus the whole family loves the W7 I picked up s/h earlier in the year and I'd like an escuse for another panasonic.)

    My boss bought one for a steal when an opportunity presented itsself, but it didn't last long. He forgot it on the roof of his escape and it fell off onto the driveway, completely done for.
