Just come across some Corsair (XMS2-6400) DDR2 - 2MG 800MHz ram. Will it fit in my cf30?

Right now all I have is 3 gig and it is worked ok.

But will be replacing the hard drive to a SSD to a 240GB Solid State Drive. And wondering if this Ram will fit/work.

You have to buy a desktop PC with DDR2 support, then call it "cf30" and install this RAM. After all, yes, it will fit in your cf30.

He means you have desktop RAM on hands but need SO-DIMM one for laptops.

I actually have 2 ddr2 4gb sticks that came out of a Eurocom DC9, I have tried one in a CF-30 Mk1 and no go. I will have a Mk3 in a week or so and will try that. I should try the junker 52Mk2 I have also.
