    hi to all from italy
    I have read the RAM post ..i look for upgrade 512 ram for my cf-28pc
    please..does someone have the sure model or the sure complete code to buy 512 ram module for cf-28PC p3800... SURE ...without to throw money with ebay purchase wrong models that they are not recognized??

    SODIMM SDRAM 512MB PC100 .(or 133??) MHZ 144PIN .....THIS IS SURE AND ENOUGH TO BE RECOGNIZED??
    ..there are a lot of rams with these characteristics and prices a lot of variable..
    in the forum does exist buy / sell?

    You can ALWAYS go to www.800memory.com and plug in your laptop type to find the exact type of RAM you need... For any laptop!

    You want PC 133 RAM... With the 4 big chips on each side... Not the one with 8 chips on each side.

    512MB, 144-pin SODIMM, SDRAM, PC133 4 chips each side

    bud in ebay price is from 7 euro to... 55 euro..!!! with this reference.. 4 chips each side.....
    I would obviously choose low price.. but too difference of price..
    a lot of.as in sale for wrong purchase....

    this ram kingston 512( in the photo ) model number reference sight on ebay new.. BUD 4 chips each side....( work 4 and work 8 ???)
    shipped in italia 85 us dollar! 60 +25 ship... is correct GOOD price?

    I was sort of puzzled by this 8 chip thing myself. I can't even tell how many chips there are on mine becuase I have some Elpida pc-133 that has the armored can on it, but looking in from the side it looks like it has 16 chips or so.

    Try this item on ebay. item no.190220424190 I just bought recently to this guy and it works to my cf-m34 866mhz with pc133 while other modules not. It is also work on cf-28s.

    cf-28s and cf-28p (my) ram is not different?? or bios recognize different ?? :cool:
    if work fine in your cf-28s...run and work also my cf-28p??

    I have already bought wrong once...
    but they are among .. "professionals toughbook man" ... now.. :))
