    I don't know anything about that card, but have tried other USB cards in other Toughbooks. One thing to consider is the amount of 5-volt power. PC card standards have lower current than USB, so a USB device might draw too much power and fry the adapter card and/or PC card slot. Believe the small hole between the ports is for external power, probably a good idea for anything more power hungry then a simple USB memory stick.

    FWIW, I use an AKE BC618T on my CF-19 that I got off of eBay. Do a search on BC618T. Has the Renesas chip set. Be sure to use driver 2.1.39 (Windows 32 bit) or later to eliminate incompatibility issues with some hardware. Works great and the price is right. As the previous poster stated, there are limitations on power output of express card ports. External hard drives, etc should have their own power supply.
