I have acquired some problem spy/ad ware on my cf18 and need to recover. I purchased a usb drive to recover but cannot get the recovery to initialize. Any experience out there?

    Rogator... Welcome to the forum!

I'm not really familiar with the CF-18 but I would imagine that you have several things in the BIOS to switch over. Boot from USB... Or boot from CD Rom... Etc. I'm sure someone will chime in soon.

I had a CF-M34 that was similar. I needed a USB CD Rom (Thanks Mnem!) and it recognized it after fooling around with the BIOS switches.
