    Hi Guru's
Newbie here .... please be gentle .....

Have been looking around after joining this forum around an hour or so ago.
    Looks like a great resource.

I have recently bought a CF-19KDRC7GA with a couple of driver issues, the only buttons working on the front are the screen brightness. There is no auto screen rotate in tablet mode.

I have already fixed the speaker sound problem when I selected the one way mute (Fn F4) <g>

I suspect the PO had fiddled with the drivers in the Util2 folder - there don't seem to be many there at all.
I am aware that the drivers need to be installed in a specific order ...
I have downloaded all relevant drivers from the Panasonic .JP site and the list for the order of installation for the CF-19K/L

    My question is this ...
Do I just reinstall the drivers in factory correct order, overwriting the existing, or do I have to delete any or all of the existing drivers to ensure a trouble free install?

    Cheers
    Dave

Welcome to the Toughbook forum Dave
The best way to do it is look for the restore disk. This will save you a lot of work...30 minutes and you are done. If you dont have one then I would start all over with a fresh install because you never know what the last guy loaded on it. I always do this with any laptop I get in.

    Welcome to the forum!

If you don't have a Restore Disk you can just reinstall the OS. I believe, when you stated UTIL2 folder, that the PO loaded the OS with no Restore Disk. The Restore Disk will load the driver to plain old UTIL (Without the 2)... So the drivers may be mismatched or installed incorrectly. To reduce your stress of this... Just reload the OS and load with known good drivers downloaded from Panasonic's site.
