    Hi,

Hoping someone can help. I've replaced the LCD on a CF-30 for someone, when I took the screen out I spotted a small crack at the corner of the touchscreen (looks like someone hit it with a screwdriver!). After replacing the screen and pushing it down in to place this crack has spread over the bottom of the screen. The crack is on the glass, on the back of the screen. Is it possible to remove this glass (it seems glued on)? Is the membrane on the front sufficient enough to protect from scratches?

    Thanks for any help

The glass is part of the touch panel. Order one from techtuff through the forum. All will become clear when you pull the front bezel.
Touchpanel is three layers: (this is my terminology :))
    1. Screen protector
    2. Glass part of touch panel
    3. Thick plastic? part of touchpanel.
