    Hello,

I have had some serious luck this last weeks, first I destroyed a keyboard and then I destroyed the nib of my stylus for the CF19.

Here is a picture of what it now looks like.

The magnet and side button of the pen works but I cant click with the nib.

Is it possible to repair it somehow, my guess is that I lost a part to it when it broke off. If not where could I get a cheap replacement pen?

    Regards,

unfortunatly, I'm pretty sure you will have to replace the whole pen. I'm not aware of anyone that has fixed a broken one before, but it doesn't hurt to ask of course.

It sucks too because these damn pens are like $55-$60 to replace.

You can get a 3rd party digitizer pen, and it will work, and it will cost a LOT less (like maybe $20), but it won't fit in the little slot in the screen.

    Thanks

This will fit. Its a perfect replacement. This is the one that the CAPT'N recommended and its really a perfect match. there are two type, the one with tether hole and the other is none.

I've seen this pen selling one to two panasonic vendor on ebay for $59.00 and as far as I know. he only gathered this info here on the panasonic forum. You know how much his mark up 300 t0 500%.

    Here is the cheap one:

    Here is another one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-T...466?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item3f0eed7ffa

It will fit on the stylus holder. Sometimes you can get this for 9buck

    It's Wacom MP200.
You only have to drill a hole for a lanyard.

@ ohlip & BaRRmaley, You're both right. $17 is not a bad price, they're more from the Wacom on-line store. Google Wacom MP200, I've found them really cheap on occasion. If you find them for less than $10, buy a couple, you'll need them. Amazon usually has them for less than $20.

Thanks everyone for the tips! I will try to get one of those pens. I have already bough and recieved a Wacom UP-810 so it is not a direct emergency at least.

Ohlip, the ones you linked wanted$45 just for the shipping to Sweden (and doesn't seem to answer on the mail that I have sent them about it.) But thanks for the model, I will try to see if I can find one to a more humane total price! (Capt.dogfish: Amazon doesn't seem to sell them in Europe)

PM me. I'll ship you one for a reasonable price. It will certainly get there in a first class letter for a lot less than $45  Edit: Less like $1.96US

No, I've broken a couple of those and I've never managed to repair one. Very delicate things; to my mind they were never really tough enough for the cf-18/19.

As people are saying you'll find them on Ebay for a reasonable price, but I strongly recommend getting a full-sized pen. One for any taplet PC that uses Wacom's "Penabled" technology will work, they can often be cheaper, they're nicer to hold and use, and I find them more sensitive and accurate. Some models also have nice extras, such as a second button you can program or an eraser end. The single downside is that they don't fit in the dock and so have to be carried separately.

Or here's an interesting compromise: You've probably heard of the Samsung Galaxy Note, the Android phone with a Wacom digitizer. The pen that comes with this is nearly identical to the CF-19, to the extent that it will actually fit in the dock (though it looks a bit out of place, I'll admit). But you can also get a holder to screw it into that will give it the dimensions of a full-size pen.

I don't know, on the whole I think simply getting a full-size one is the best solution. But this is kind of neat...
