    Had a bad keyboard or two and came up with the following. Warning: practice first.

    First of all bad keys. They connect in different manners on both ends. I have had little success removing the square hinge part from the key without ending up with Image 1.

    Image 1 Damage to clips on left. No good.
    Image 2 Damage to undercut pieces (see the white?) No good.
    Image 3 The two pieces that hinge the key.
    Image 4 To remove a key slide your little flat blade screwdriver under and warp the long piece out from under the notches.
    Image 5 and 6 Hinge the key upward and push the side rails with the pins out of the small hinge piece both right and left with the screwdriver.
    Now you should be able to unlock the small piece from the hooks on the keyboard rotate it diagonally and remove the key from the keyboard. Leave the small hinge piece attached if you intend to re-use this key.
