    Replace screen from Dou Core cf-51 need help

    Cracked my screen from CF 51 duo core, it has the one piece combo lcd/inverter cable that plugs into MB (xga) I have spare screen that has the split cable for inverter/lcd (uxga). Can I swap cables to use spare screen in my duo and does it matter which inverter I use?

    OK got that part, but what about the inverters, are they screen specific or all interchangeable, as I see on ebay these inverters are selling with no specifics, ie can I go to ebay and buy a screen(no inverter included) that has the split cable, then swap in my cable and also use the inverter from my broken screen?

    I can't remember any issue with the inverters. Your original inverter should work.

    Are you looking for a 15" xga screen? I may have one here.

    looks like i have 2 uxga screens. both have the inverters and one has the complete cable assembly.
