    Replacing CF-28 screen with brighter one

    Anyone know if a CF 30 touchscreen would fit in a cf 28, so the screen would be brighter? :) :) Or if there is any other way to brighten things up so you can see the screen in the daylight better? It works great indoors, but sucks outside... thanks :rolleyes:

    Laz... I don't think the CF-30 would work... The Mobo connections are different. Unless you have a transflective screen... You won't read it easily in the daylight. This may sound strange... But if you have a dim screen... Try using wallpapers with lighter backgrounds. It gives the perception of a brighter screen.

    The CF-28s have a reputation of getting a "washed-out" look to them. The colors fade and the brightness dims. The touchscreens are even more prone.
