So I have a CF29 with a bad touchscreen, so I ordered a new one. When opening the back of the monitor panel, I removed the LCD and was finally able to unplug the touchscreen and get to the back of it... However, it seems like it's glued or attached somehow to the front monitor casing. I'm afraid to break it and was looking for suggestions.

Also, if it is glued on, do I need to glue on the new screen as well?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I think that is a double-sided tape to protect the lcd components from water, dust,.... You should have ordered also #DFHP7183ZA (TS Tape). How much was it for the touchscreen?
