This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Thanks to those who blazed the trail, I just added Win7 to my MK5 (dual boot with XP now) and it's all pretty good except the posts pointing to XP and Vista video drivers didn't help me - they would install, but the resolution was all wrong (stretched off the screen) etc.

    Finally I found this: Laptop Driver: Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Driver For Windows 7

    Which seemed to work the best for me, so I'm posting in case anyone else has the same issues.
