Billy Mays could sell anything. I bet he could move tons of Toughbooks. Yep Billy reminds me of another salesman. I wonder how he would spin the fully rugged TB's?

yup! the 27-28 rubberized keyboard also work on cf-29 just slide in the two cable ribbon and your set, no extra hardware. The light can be adjusted into three level but unfortunately you can not totally shut off the light like the emmissive keyboard on which can be shut it off to save battery juice.

Thanks. They got a package deal with the docking stations for in the car use so they'll always be on external power. My buddy over there just got assigned to the highway interdiction drug task force. 2 weeks ago made his first big bust. 68 pounds of weed. He said what caught his eye was the 50 boxes of dryer sheets in the back seat. Someone told them it would throw the dog off.

Yup... And that is a great price for it too! The only problem is that you can't see the other side. (Though you could probably tell from this side)... They actually make two different kinds of these. The one (presumably) shown for the regular black type keyboard that illuminates and the other one is for the CF-29 & 30 keyboards to fit into the CF-28. If you have the other type you can actually use the rare CF-30 emissive keyboard in the CF-28. I sold a bunch like that years ago. Knowing what I know now... I would have kept them!

I had one of the rubber keyboards and it wad very annoying to type and the space bar was painful on the side of my thumb after a while. I love the transmissive keyboards. They light up for you, they are sealed better than a standard keyboard and much more substantial feeling and I can type very fast.

I happen to have an emissive keyboard and inverter board I'll be selling soon. The only flaw is that some of the lettering on the keys are wearing off. I had it listed on ebay 2 months ago and it didn't sell for some odd reason, I was only asking $80 for it.

I went back to the rubberized keyboards. I have trained myself to use them by typing much harder than normal.

I bought 3 rubberized keyboards from ebay recently from ebay id Horizon_Electronics, all three were bad. The jerk refused to take them back.

It was too late to give him negative feedback as I had already given positive but waited too long to test them. Next time I'm going to have to test immediately but I thought I was safe since he had so much positive feedback. We got into an argument via mail and this person has no honor.

Each keyboard was broken in different ways. A few keys didn't work on one, arrow keys didn't work on one other, and then the FN key was bad on the third.

So I am looking for (1) rubberized keyboard in 100% condition as well.

I have a bunch of parts to sell soon as well. I need to raise more cash, I'm going to have to buy a new forklift battery soon for another solar installation I am working on in my new place in wilderness :) (I am moving from NM soon for parts undisclosed)
