Hi all, i need to buy a good BT mouse for my cf19. BT i think is a good solution to avoid to open the notebook usb slot.
My question is, is there a good "rugged" bt mouse ?
I bught a logitech m555b but i don't like it very much. (poor construction)

    Thank you

While I haven't found a true "ruggedized" Bluetooth mouse, Logitech is the manufacturer of the OEM Dəll Bluetooth mouse (and keybioard) I use on my desktop.

Look into the Logitech V470 Cordless Laser Mouse for Bluetooth®

I personally have the MOGO PCMCIA mouse. It works very well and it charges and hides away in the PCMCIA slot that is covered from the elements.

I think they make an express mogo mouse now that also has a laser pointer built in for presentations or to annoy your cats...

I have the one on the right. It used to last 6 hours and now it only lasts about 2 hours on a charge :(

It just rests in the PC card slot :)

If the USB port is recessed a little, like the CF-29s, I have a Logitech laser wireless mouse with the "nano" receiver which fits in the recessed USB port such that I can close the rubber flap. (Just use some electrical tape to make a pull tab, so you can pull it back out if necessary.) As for ruggedness, this mouse has been knocked in the floor at least a dozen times so hard that both batteries flew out (grandchildren) and still works fine. I think I've had this mouse for about 2 years or so.

Eats 2 AAA Duracell batteries per 2 month. I don't use it too often. If I do - I will just use accums :)

Speaking of BT, has anyone put a combo BT/Wifi minipci in CF-28 to replace the modem?

We've bandied the idea about quite a bit; but the inexpensive nature of the Atheros MiniPCI cards and the fact that they just blow away anything else that was available at the time made it much more cost-effective to do that hack. Then we'd just add a bluetooth bug when we did the internal USB/Hub hack while we were doing the GPS hack.

Been using the MS BT5000 as well and it takes a beating. God knows how many times I have been in a little "high speed" driving action going after our ever increasing law breakers and it's been thrown across the Tahoe like a bullet. The battery cover flies off sometimes but it has always worked like a champ. If there is a rugged one out there I would like to try it. They should make one with a rubber edge on it or something???
