Have not asked a question in a while. Hello Everyone!!!! I have a CF 19 MK IV. I had a SATA II SSD on board at one time, SanDisk Ultra 250 Gig. Just up'd it to a Samsung 840 EVO 750 Gig, SATA III. Works really great, as good or better than my SSD, however, in the "Magician", it states it cannot operate in SATA III. Is there a workaround for this or does it involve a new CF MK VI or better? I did enable "Rapid Mode" and received better benchmarks, but data transfer is still low.

    Thanks for assistance.....

Nope...this has been talked about a lot and never heard anyone getting around it. I think you are stuck at SATA II . It's because they want to keep the heat down. I am running a Samsung drive too in my 19MK2 but smaller.

Thanks for info. I know heat can be a problem, did not think SATA III would be a problem. Oh well, still super faster than spinners!!!
