I just dropped a Kingspec 64GB SSD in my CF-51 and Windows 7 won't recognize it. The BIOS does see it, but Windows 7 doesn't, although sometimes it does but it doesn't let me format it.

I then tried installing Windows XP on the drive and that didn't work either.

I've been searching around for a while now and I can't seem to find any info on this. Is this something that others are having issues with?

Are you using it with a SATA to IDE adapter or is it a PATA SSD ?

It was a PATA. I couldn't get it to work so I sent it back. Is there really enough room in the tray for an adapter?

Those kingspec ssd drives are junk anyways. Read the specs on them... the HM160C Samsung is way faster and under $60 new!

    Hey Shawn "Happy 1K".
Do you need a 51 caddy? I have some as new ones that I forget to list.
    PM if interested.
