Is it possible to replace the stock hard drive on the Cf-18 with a solid state drive? I have just installed a CF-18 on my police motorcycle and have concerns about the vibrations. I have isolated the computer with rubber mounts but would feel more comfortable if I could get a SSD installed. I saw a PATA drive at Newegg for under $100. Any help would be appreciated.

CF18's use 2.5" IDE (aka PATA) hard disk drives just like CF28's so any discussion of using SSD's in CF28's will apply to CF18's as well.
