For some time now I have been looking at SSD and finally got a new Intel X25-M SSDSA2M080G2GC 80GB SATA. . This 30 now starts up in 25 seconds and loads programs so fast .Before I installed it windows took about 45-50 seconds to start.....I can do a full restart in that time now :D If you are looking to add a SSD the first thing you should do is join this site Forums . These guys are great and have a great guide The SSD Optimization Guide | The SSD Review .There is a lot of SSD's on fleabay but you need to understand them first before you buy...G1, G2 , Trim ??
I started with a 80GB and 10.6GB after updates and a few programs with 63.7 free. Awesome :D

Well I just tried it but the numbers are never the same 24 , 26 , 31 , 29 and 28. The longest was a restart and the shortest was from a cold start. It's almost twice as fast as my WD Black 320GB 7200 RPM drive.
