    Hello,

I know the 200x models work, but will this model work in the CF-29 also? Its twice as Fast for $10 more! And still within 8Gb

    Thanks

keep in mind you're looking for SD cards, not CF.

and the bottleneck is in the SD card reader, not the card itself, you can buy as fast a card you want but IIRC the CF-29 reader doesn't go above a few MB/sec... neither does the CF-30 reader for that matter.

I meant SD not CF. sorry about that.

On the Reader whats the Limit in the reader 5-6mb/s? No sense in wasting money on a fast Card if the reader stinks.

And if its so Slow on the read and write, how can using Eboostr help? the speed back and forth you think would be so slow as not to be effective cache resource?

Thanks for the help, I dont want to waste money that I dont have.

If you don't want to waste money, then don't bother getting any of these little pieces of hardware or software, since you might as well save up for a future SSD to have any significant benetfit.

So basically trying to do an Eboost with a CF-29 is a waste of money and time? What about using a CF card instead. doesnt the CF-29 have one in the PCMCIA port? Would that be a better sourse for speed that would work?
