I just installed the W7 Ultimate RTM and the screen display adjustement works now. I have not installed any Panny stuff yet, but I am sure it will work as well. On the RC you could not adjust the brightness level at all. This is good news!!!! :) :) :)

Yep, There have been several versions just since the release of the RTM. The one I installed was updated on the 6th. So I am assumming they are finding things everyday. I am in the process of installing all the Panny stuff right now.

Are you using XP drivers or Vista? Or does it matter?

When I loaded the RTM on mine all I installed were the following:

(in order and Vista version on CF-19MKI)
    1. Panasonic Common Components Application
    2. Panasonic Misc Driver
    3. Panasonic Notification Application
    4. Tablet Buttons Driver
    5. Touch Pad Driver
    6. Hotkey Driver
    7. Hotkey Appendix Application
    8. Hotkey Settings Application
    9. Tablet Button Manager Application
    10. Loupe Utility
    11. PC Information Viewer
    12. Battery Recalibration Application

All the other drivers (ie. Wireless LAN, LAN, Video, etc.) were installed by Win 7. Win 7 installed the correct video driver after install by automatically connecting to Windows Update. Everything is working fine including the front buttons as I am typing this on my CF-19MKI right now. My CF-19 has the digitizer and not the touch screen.

    Hope this helps.

Since the install I have encrypted my drive with Bitlocker since it has a TPM 1.2 module in it.

The only thing I could not get to work is the automatic screen rotation to portrait when its flipped to tablet mode. No big deal as the button on the front works fine.

Holy ****, now that I installed the Panny drivers it does not work now

The slider will move to the lowest setting in 7 but it will not change the brightness? There has got to be something with the Panny drivers and apps that are conflicting.

I am going to try the advise above and see what happens.

TB, I have tried using all the different compatibility settings.
