OK, I have had my first TB for less than a month and now I just bought my second one; you are ALL to blame (or so I told my wife).
My "new" one seems to be in great shape but the guy I bought it from says that he removed the "grungy" screen protector. Are these necessary or just extra protection?
    Thanks
BTW, This is my last ToughBook.................... well, maybe ONE more :D

I don think so, that it is your last toughbook. I'm pretty sure more are coming soon.

BTW, before we go further. The screen protector can be replace or maybe not needed. Its up to you if you don't want the touchscreen glass to be scatch, you may install another one again for 23 buck + s&h. For me, it doesn't matter with or without will be fine.

Ohlip is spot on, it's up to you. However, it's a trade off either way. You have some extra protection with one installed, but it's much harder to keep the screen looking smudge free. I am starting to see very tiny little scratches in the one that does not have the protection screen on it. That is only when it's off though.

See how much you use the Touchscreen first.

Teo... Do you have the same type as ScreenPatronous on ebay? (The static cling type)
