I've installed a known working WWAN card from another CF19 mk4 but it is not shown in the BIOS settings. The mk4 has neither the dip switches nor the "optional kit configuration" (toughkit) option in the BIOS settings.

Wireless switch is enabled and switched on. I've tried the power off degauss.

BIOS is V4.00L11. Model number is CF-19RHRAX2M.

How do I "tell" the system that there is a WWAN card installed without any dipswitches or the optional kit configuration?

You say it's not in the bios. I know the MK 5 has it. I will check and see what page it is on in the bios .

It should be on the second page of the bios (Main) close to the bottom left side below "concealed Mode Configuration"

Well I just checked my MK1 & 2 to be sure it was there and they don't have it either. I must of been thinking of the 30 maybe. Guess I better edit my last post :p

    Many thanks all.

Yes it was SPGOBI2 that sorted it. It amends the BIOS to show WWAN Enable/Disable in the Wireless Configuration settings.

Doesn't add the optional kit option though but seems to work without having to set anythingthere as other mks require.
