I went through this when I was rebuilding my CF-30 for sale. I had to download several different readers to get my reader to work with Win7. You can download what you need from Panasonic's website.

If you can download a workable solution from Panny... Would you still want to change?

That does not surprise me since they have no updated software available. Apple bought them out a while ago and what I heard they will be using it on there tabs and phones only.

I have seen that thread before and many others too (7 years old) a lot of things have changed since then :) . I have looked around for a alternative but found none. I think the last time they updated there software was maybe 3-4 years ago then apple bought them up and shut it down . You can still find the software on the net if you know where to look...

Have not had the time to mess with my FPR's much yet.
Since they are usb based..Once you install proper drivers, won't any software for a FPR work?

Yeah the FPR driver is on Panny's .jp site actually includes the UPEK SW as a bonus, yeah it's kinda a novelty to unlock the desktop and encrypt folders, but I'd rather have something that integrates into the web browser since that is where I mostly use (and forget) passwords.

I had A FPS on my CF-30... I'd MUCH rather have a strong password. It is a novelty... At least at this level.
