So i installed my GPS unit last night and discovered that my toughbook had one of these MC75 EDGE units installed.

I can't see myself ever using it and was wondering if someone can tell me what it's worth?

Seen prices from 40 to 80 usd. They're not that pricey. I dont know why anyone would need them though. 3g or 4g is the way to go nowadays.

yeah, some of the networks around here support EDGE, for your sms and emails it's fine i guess.

The prices of data that Canadian Wireless providers charge is completely retarded so i doubt that I'd ever use any WWAN option for browsing, downloading, etc.

I say some people in the BST section asking for them so apparently there's still a market :)
