I know someone who has what he claims are cf-30 wireless wan sleds with hsdpa at&t 3g cards. they were ordered with the departments new cf30s and said the part number was like 30CH36FU. Can i use this in my Mark3 CF-29? The cf29 im using is wireless ready and has a verizon card in it.
Also... how do I tell which antenna can access an external antenna. I only have a single rf out on my cf29 and a single rf on the docking station, but how can i tell if the wifi card or the wireless wan has the external output. I would think it would be the wireless wan, correct?

Don't think its going to work,
The wwan sled on the cf-29 mk-5 and all cf-30's use a standard pci-e card ,and your cf-29 uses a special wwan card and I don't know of anyone doing it
It would require the complete sled, but i'm not sure if the internal interface to the sled on your early model cf-29 is compatable

well it is the complete sled. its the entire sled assembly card and all. i dont know if i was specific in my first post. So basically i would just pull out the current verizon sled and put in the new at&t sled if it was compatible. Thats what i am wondering.
Will a complete sled assembly (sled with at&t card already on it) from a cf30 work in my mark 3 cf29? -
You could/should call panasonic service to confirm

I looked at that thread and I sounds like it will work but i did not want to get it if its not. The city loves selling things but not so fond on returning money.. lol
I will try to call panasonic and see if they can tell me.
Does anybody else have any input on this?
So am I crazy for thinking this???
