Its good to shout out your frustrations, every once and a while

Lots of bad people out there, and personaly I don't like taking chances
I pay a bit more sometimes, but don't have issues with sellers
    I don't like to gamble

An ebay seller offering to save him $50 on a used cf-18 if he sent a paypal payment directly, without directly selling it to him on a ebay sale

He found out it was not exactly as described, and was going through a bit of problems with the seller returning his pmt (it had not been shipped out yet)

The seller sent an invoice on a laptop that was already sold...then wanted to switch me to one with duct tape. I had to get paypal to send him a nice note, but I got my funds back and am looking again.

To be honest I am not sold on a 1.1 ghz machine for this kinda money, rugged or not. I am also considering tablets, the iTronix tablet looks cool but the battery's are $50 more than a cf-18 battery...ouch, you know if you get a used 3 year old battery it's going to be roached.

Actually I was quite surprised to find that the 3+ year old battery in my Australian Toughbook still lasts over 3 hours. That is already more than my way more expensive Samsung notebook....

I really wonder what the battery life would be of a brand shiny new battery.

I just wish I could find a digitizer in decent shape. I found a few in Canada, but they are missing the side door and there is only one on Ebay for nearly $80...yeeouch.
